Welcome to the proposed Hollywood Casino, Harvey! As one of three applicants for Louisiana's 15th and final license, Penn National is excited to present this project to the State of Louisiana and the residents of Jefferson Parish. The project includes a nearly $150 million investment that will include up to 1,500 slots machines, 44 table games (including a 10 table poker room), parking garage, an upscale buffet and steakhouse as well as other food and beverage offerings and a multipurpose room. Penn's proposed second phase would be an additional $150 million investment that includes a 250-room hotel, an additional parking garage, an entertainment showroom and a pedestrian skywalk that would connect these additional amenities to the riverboat over Peters Road.

Hollywood Casino, Harvey is expected to generate approximately $30 million in gaming revenue for the State of Louisiana and approximately $8 million for Jefferson Parish. Penn has committed to paying the same 6% local tax to Jefferson Parish as the existing riverboat does. The project is expected to create over 1,000 Louisiana jobs during the construction phase with most of them in the New Orleans-Metairie-Kenner region. Once in operation, Hollywood Casino, Harvey expects to hire approximately 600 permanent positions for the riverboat in the first phase alone.
